According to the Los Angeles Times, composer and performer Eve Beglarian is a “humane, idealistic rebel and a musical sensualist.” A 2023 winner of the Arts and Letters Award for “a spectacular body of work that innovates and takes enormous risks. Her piece None More Than You was featured on Roomful of Teeth’s album Rough Magic, which won the 2024 GRAMMY® Award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance.
Since 2001, she has been creating A Book of Days, “a grand and gradually manifesting work in progress…an eclectic and wide-open series of enticements.” (Los Angeles Times)

GRAMMY®-nominated mezzo-soprano Devony Smith bridges classical opera and contemporary music with equal mastery. Praised by The New York Times for her “sensual” and “strong” voice, she brings technical precision and vivid interpretive insight to every performance.
On the concert stage, Devony has sung at Caramoor Center for the Arts, Ravinia Steans Music Institute, Carnegie Hall Citywide, and as a Sorel Fellow at SongFest. She has appeared in solo performances at Carnegie Hall in Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.
GRAMMY®-nominated pianist Danny Zelibor, praised for his sensitive and colorful playing, is a sought-after collaborator and performer. His recent debut album “In This Short life” with Devony earned the duo their first GRAMMY®-nomination. He made his Carnegie Hall debut with baritone Jarrett Ott and has performed in recital with leading musicians including singers Harolyn Blackwell and Karim Sulayman, violinist Pinchas Zukerman, and cellists Amanda Forsyth, Brant Taylor, and Robert DeMaine. An ardent lover of art song, he frequently performs with Brooklyn Art Song Society and New York Festival of Song and has recorded world premieres of songs by many of America's leading composers. On the cutting edge of new music, he has helped commission several new American works, as well as workshopped and premiered dozens of works in the opera and art songs spaces with composers ranging from David Lang, Kamala Sankaram, Matthew Ricketts, and Eve Beglarian, among many others.
